Welcome to Chincha Coja (the limping chigger) Goat Ranch, located in Comanche, Texas, in the Heartland. Established in 2019, our ranch has a rich history rooted in a passion for raising goats.

My journey in goat farming began in 1998 on the island of Maui, Hawaii. It was there that I introduced the first Boer goats to the Hawaiian Islands, marking the beginning of my involvement in the industry. Recognizing the growing demand for meat goats, I took the initiative to import 100-200 live goats per month from Texas to the islands of Oahu and Maui starting in 2004. Through this venture, I cultivated valuable friendships and established close contacts within the Texas goat community, regularly visiting the state.

My dream of owning a goat ranch in Texas became a reality when I purchased land in Comanche in 2017. Following two years of dedicated work building barns and fences, we made the move to Texas in early 2019. At Chincha Coja, we specialize in raising three distinct breeds of goats: Savannas, Kikos, and Syfan Black Spanish goats. Each breed is renowned for its excellent mothering skills, parasite resistance, and overall toughness compared to others.
